Terms and Conditions

By using the Candid Families LLC (“Candid Families”, “we”, “our”) website and booking our photography services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Booking and Rescheduling

  • All bookings are subject to availability
  • Sessions may be rescheduled due to poor weather, but availability will depend on other existing bookings
  • We cannot guarantee that your preferred reschedule date will be available

Cancellations and Refunds

  • All digital high-resolution photo purchases are final and nonrefundable
  • For cancellations made more than 7 days before a scheduled session, a full refund will be issued
  • If canceled within 7 days, the session may be rescheduled, but the deposit is nonrefundable
  • Additional exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Photo Delivery and Access

  • For sessions resulting in fewer than 20 photos, delivery can be expected within 5 business days
  • For sessions with more than 20 photos, delivery may take up to 14 business days
  • Galleries will remain accessible unless we notify you that we are clearing space — you will have 14 days from notice to download your photos

Use of Photographs

Candid Families may take candid photographs of individuals and families in public settings, including parks, events, or other community spaces. These photographs may be used for promotional purposes such as display on this website, social media, portfolio galleries, and other marketing materials.

By accessing this website or your private gallery, you acknowledge that your photo may have been taken in a public setting and may be used for such promotional purposes unless you notify us otherwise.

If you appear in a photo and do not wish for it to be used, you may request removal at any time by contacting us by emailing candidfamilies@gmail.com.

We respect your privacy and will honor any removal requests promptly and without question.

  • You are granted personal use rights to all purchased photos
  • Candid Families may use select photos for promotional purposes unless you explicitly opt out in writing

Governing Law

These terms and any disputes arising from your use of our services shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
